IGNORE THE LOOP It's a draft.

Surprise? It's what I've been working on in the past 2 months. Not regularly, of course. I've been busy with school. :shakefist:

Take a good look at it, 'cause this'll be a little project I'll be working. To improve effects and skills. And boy, does it need some work. :no:

Critique. Critique. Critique. Please. I'm open to any advice. How should the thunder look? Animation, more effects. Anything!

And if anyone could show me some lightning techniques and examples I could study would great. Paticularly if their tutorials or pixel art.

I know I haven't submitted any full emotes recently. I really want to, but I don't have Fireworks. :icongrumpinessplz: I hate colouring on photoshop. This makes a lot of shading glitches.

I think the explosion goes up really quickly, which is good, but then the outline kinda lingers there while it's disappearing (like it's disappearing too slowly) and it looks a little awkward :hmm:

Also, the lightning looks a tiny bit awkward too, though only right at the bottom, where the lightning hits the ground ^^;

But everything else looks really good and the details are amazing :D keep it up, dude :la:
