IGNORE THE LOOP It's a draft.

Surprise? It's what I've been working on in the past 2 months. Not regularly, of course. I've been busy with school. :shakefist:

Take a good look at it, 'cause this'll be a little project I'll be working. To improve effects and skills. And boy, does it need some work. :no:

Critique. Critique. Critique. Please. I'm open to any advice. How should the thunder look? Animation, more effects. Anything!

And if anyone could show me some lightning techniques and examples I could study would great. Paticularly if their tutorials or pixel art.

I know I haven't submitted any full emotes recently. I really want to, but I don't have Fireworks. :icongrumpinessplz: I hate colouring on photoshop. This makes a lot of shading glitches.

Yeah, the lightning obviously needs more work. I just don't know how or what to detail it with. Any ideas? :shrug:

What kind of details? :B That's the problem: I don't know what to improve the lightning with. XD I just know something's missing...

Maybe I should just chuck out the whole lightning bolt idea and make it really long strips of lightning.

What about varied shades? Do you think it'll look weird on the lightning?

I'm not entirely sure really :confused: Putting varied shades on it could work, provided there aren't too many as you want it to still look like lightning.
