IGNORE THE LOOP It's a draft.

Surprise? It's what I've been working on in the past 2 months. Not regularly, of course. I've been busy with school. :shakefist:

Take a good look at it, 'cause this'll be a little project I'll be working. To improve effects and skills. And boy, does it need some work. :no:

Critique. Critique. Critique. Please. I'm open to any advice. How should the thunder look? Animation, more effects. Anything!

And if anyone could show me some lightning techniques and examples I could study would great. Paticularly if their tutorials or pixel art.

I know I haven't submitted any full emotes recently. I really want to, but I don't have Fireworks. :icongrumpinessplz: I hate colouring on photoshop. This makes a lot of shading glitches.

Maybe if you illuminated some parts of the black background as if it were being lit up by the lightning, that might work. :V

wow, so that's what we were waiting for ?
stunning workk man, amazing effects.
although your use of the red and white colors is nice, i think they alone don't stand enough for a powerful look.
you should use one more color (less-red and less-white) to add more tiny details and more shading to those blasts.
try adding some cracks to the blasts.
